About a year ago, I created a Facebook page called Holtville Social. At the time, I honestly wasn’t sure what I wanted it to become. I just knew there was something missing. Like many people in our community, I would often hear about an event after it had already happened. I’d see photos online and think, “I wish I had known about that.” Whether it was a fundraiser, a school event, a local gathering, or a new business opening, it seemed like there wasn’t one central place where our community could stay connected.
